OES is honoured to help honour War Veterans
ImageDuring the ‘Year of the Veteran’, and marking the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands, the Dutch Canadian community of the London area decided that a permanent monument was needed in London as a tribute to the sacrifice of so many Canadians, and to make sure that neither their sacrifice, or the Dutch community’s thankfulness, is never forgotten.
